Our History

Serving Texas since 1948

Jack Hilliard Distributing is a family-owned business delivering quality beverages across the state of Texas since 1948.

Jack P. Hilliard, Sr. started selling Anheuser-Busch products in 1948 in Bell County, which at the time was a total of 180 retail accounts. Mr. Hilliard’s total equipment used to handle this territory consisted of one pickup truck. With his pickup, he was able to carry all three packages: 6-pk cans, returnable bottles, and quarts.

In 1958, Mr. Hilliard became an independent wholesaler for Anheuser-Busch products, building a warehouse distribution complex inTemple. His territory grew to include Bell, Coryelle, Miliam, and Falls counties.

As the Company grew, Jack P. Hilliard, Jr. started working with his dad as a teenager unloading box cars at the warehouse. In July of 1971, the Company purchased a second distributorship in Bryan that delivers to Brazos, Burleson, Robertson, Madison, and Grimes counties.

Stacy Hilliard has been a part of the family business and has taken the reigns as the Company continues to grow. Currently Jack Hilliard Distributing has multiple locations distributing Anheuser-Busch products, craft beers, and non-alcohol beverages across 76 counties in the state.
